Couch Conversations & Consulting, PLLC
In my practice, I strive to create a space where clients feel safe to ask for what they need, without shame or fear. Therapy isn’t about weakness—it’s about empowerment. It’s about discovering that even in moments of loss, you can build new paths to independence, confidence, and hope. My goal is to walk alongside clients as they uncover their own strength and resilience—because sometimes, the most powerful transformation begins with the simple act of saying, “I need help.” Sometimes asking for help is the greatest gift you can give the helper.
The Tapestry of Couch Conversations
Accessible
At Couch Conversations and Consulting, PLLC, I believe therapy should be a safe, empowering, and deeply personalized experience. My mission is simple: to serve the community by helping you navigate life’s challenges with compassion, creativity, and care—one conversation at a time.
I specialize in providing high-quality, comprehensive, and individualized mental health services through a fully virtual platform. This approach not only makes therapy more accessible for clients with disabilities or those who simply prefer the comfort of home, but it also allows us to create an environment tailored for your well-being. This concept emphasizes removing barriers that may hinder someone from seeking or receiving mental health care. Whether it involves financial constraints, geographical limitations, cultural differences, or stigmas surrounding mental health. By striving for accessibility means fostering a more inclusive and understanding environment where everyone has the opportunity to prioritize their mental health without facing unnecessary obstacles.
Ultimately, prioritizing accessibility in mental health is about recognizing the diverse needs of individuals and working towards creating a system that is accessible, responsive, inclusive, individualized and meaningful to all.
Collaborative
“Your story matters. Your healing matters. And together, we can create a path forward—one conversation at a time.” I strive to create a space where clients feel safe to ask for what they need, without shame or fear. Therapy isn’t about weakness—it’s about empowerment. It’s about discovering that even in moments exploring your thoughts, emotions, and challenges, you can build new paths to independence, confidence, and hope.
My goal is to walk alongside clients as they uncover their own strength and resilience—because sometimes, the most powerful transformation begins with the simple act of saying, “I need help.” My holistic and human-centered approach. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, I integrate each client’s unique life tapestry—their experiences, worldview, and identity—into the therapeutic process. By tailoring therapy to fit each client's specific needs, I aim to cultivate a collaborative relationship built on empathy, respect, compassion, and genuine curiosity.
I offer individualized care that blends practical tools with insight-building and ongoing collaboration. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on beneath the surface while also developing concrete strategies that help you move forward. My style is direct, relaxed, collaborative, and compassionate — with a touch of humor when it helps ease the moment. I draw from CBT, DBT, EFT, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches, all through a trauma-informed lens.
“We need to know with a fresh conviction that we all share a common humanity and that our diversity in the world is strength for our future together.”

Inclusive
As a BIOPC therapist, our commitment to supporting more BIPOC clients in seeking mental health counseling runs deep. At Couch Conversations, we strive to provide a sanctuary that is safe, welcoming, affirming, and inclusive. Here, you can shed your masks, communicate in your authentic vernacular without the pressure of code-switching or assimilation. Employing an anti-oppressive, anti-racist approach in my practice, we engage with individuals and couples navigating trauma and relationship challenges.
During therapy sessions, we delve into attachment work, identity exploration, and cultural discussions, creating a space for clients to explore aspects of themselves often left unattended. We believe therapy should be a nurturing environment where you feel heard, respected, valued and encouraged to express and embrace your uniqueness and authenticity freely.

As a TBI survivor, I learned acceptance, hope, and the power of embracing change. As a traumatic brain injury survivor with multiple invisible acquired disabilities, and experiences chronic pain, I understand how you feel. The journey navigating the new normal is a marathon and the services and support you receive during and after rehabilitation often become your village. Those lessons became the foundation of my work as a therapist and in life in general. My primary goal is to provide you with a profound sense of empathy and encouragement as they navigate the complexities of their chronic pain and/or disability and experience acceptance, hope, the power of embracing change and gave you the fortitude to push forward.
My own experience with therapy was life altering. It was in those sessions that I found strength, courage, and hope. Therapy helped me process my grief, embrace my new normal, and rediscover my sense of purpose. That experience didn’t just heal me—it inspired me to pay it forward. I wanted to create a space where others could find the same affirmation and empowerment I had experienced.
I have developed an appreciation that every person has a purpose, uniqueness, and value, no matter what hurdles you may face. Strength isn’t about doing everything alone—it’s about having the courage to ask for support and the resilience to keep moving forward when life looks different than you imagined.
